Adina Horowitz, LMSW
Flatiron, Union Square & Online
"Therapy is place where we learn to hold our stories and experiences with compassion and acceptance."
Adina (she/her) views therapy as a collaborative process rooted in the belief that feeling heard, understood, and supported is the first step toward healing. "Together, we work to create a warm, affirming space where you can safely explore life, emotions, relationships, and any challenges that arise."
Adina practices from a person-centered and trauma-informed perspective and believes that therapy should not be confined to a single modality. Instead, she draws from a range of evidence-based approaches to thoughtfully tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs.
Her work integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and other therapeutic frameworks to personalize the therapeutic relationship. Adina believes that every individual is unique and every story is unique—therefore, therapy should be unique to you.
Adina earned her Master’s of Social Work from the CUNY Silberman School of Social Work and has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, self-esteem concerns, grief, and related challenges.
