“The body is our greatest ally in the healing process, as it holds the wisdom and resources necessary for healing.” — Peter Levine
You deserve to not feel alone in your healing journey. With warmth, curiosity, and active engagement, Katherine strives to create a space where clients feel truly heard and supported. She believes through exploring both our mind and body’s reactions to experiences, we can begin to heal.
Katherine is passionate about working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma and interpersonal challenges. She is particularly interested in working together with clients to process childhood trauma, recognizing how early experiences can shape our current patterns and emotional responses. Katherine is also trained in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
With beginning level training in Somatic Experiencing, Katherine incorporates use of sensation in the body to further deepen the exploration of the self. She wishes to work with clients to build healthy coping strategies and foster greater regulation and resilience. Her approach is client-centered and grounded in the belief that each person is the expert of their own experience.
Somatic Experiencing Student: Beginning Year Completed, currently in Intermediate Year.
