Her therapeutic approach and orientation are both psychodynamic and interpersonal. She believes that what often happens spontaneously and in the moment during the therapeutic process can be revelatory and deep. Vickie uses compassion to help clients develop the courage to take the journey into understanding more about the sources of their struggles and the things they are often afraid of in themselves, so that they can eventually find healing, a sense of self, and a better quality of life.

Vickie has over a decade of experience working with individuals who struggle with serious mental illness, trauma, and addiction in inpatient, residential, and outpatient IOP settings. She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work and her Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
